Photographs from an award-winning book project which documented a community living in an informal settlement a few hours from Cape Town. The images focus on the gradual improvement of living conditions over nine years, as well as the introduction of a NGO funded day-care centre for children from the settlement. At the Luxembourg book awards 2013, the book received a special mention of the jury award.
