About Andreas
I am an Architect who is passionate about travel and photography.
I use a camera which allows me to have a no fuss approach to capturing a particular moment in time. Photography for me is a creative process of discovery without prejudice; no situation is consciously judged as good or bad, pretty or not pretty.
While travelling, photography allows me to explore my fascination for everyday life in diverse cultural environments. Africa and Asia are my current travel focus.
Born in Johannesburg, raised in Germany and trained in Berlin, Cape Town has been home since 1995. I have been living and working in East and Southern Africa for more than 20 years and I am currently co-director of TMA Architects run jointly with my Ugandan wife Tina Muwanga.
