Bunker (West Berlin 1988)

Air raid bunkers were built just in case. The leadership of the Third Reich evidently did not believe in their military superiority propaganda when they constructed the first ones already in the 1930s.

Subsequent generations found more creative ways to use them. This particular bunker has been frequently used as a film location. The stern warning painted on the façade reads: “Those who build bunkers, throw bombs”.
